About us - Fat Face
Ever heard of La Face? Well it's a hot skiing spot in the French Alps. It's also what our two founders, Tim and Jules, enjoyed hurling themselves off most. So, in 1988 you had these two blokes who enjoyed skiing in the winter and surfing in the summer. They started flogging sweatshirts to fund their endless summer and they called their venture Fat Face. Anyway, fast forward a few years and everyone likes buying their kit, we open loads of new stores, expand our lines and accidentally become RETAIL SUPERSTARS. They sold up and now spend most of their time climbing up things and then throwing themselves off them again, although they do pop in every now and again for a cuppa and to steal our chocolate biscuits - the lucky devils. It's nice to have something to aim for though eh?
